This classic story of fantasy, word play and nonsense has been a favorite of mine since childhood. Who could forget the large caterpillar smoking a hookah on top of a large mushroom? Or the Cheshire Cat who can appear and disappear, leaving only its tale to mark the place it had been for a few more minutes. Or the Mad Tea Party of the March Hare and the Mad Hatter, which inspired one of the original rides at Disneyland? These and other colorful characters along with Carroll's marvelous nonsense poetry and parodies have given this classic such long life. Cat.# BTH-2010. $2.00*
