There's nothing to boost the morale and create excitement in a

Word of the Day Calendar

These colorful headers and calendar numbers are designed as starting
points for open-ended vocabulary activities for students of all ages. Each date introduces
a new "Word of the Day." These words can be used in creative writing activities,
as discussion starters, as quick prompts for language activities, for spelling lists, as
word banks, or maybe to create a dictionary center. Date Markers are 2.69-D
a package. Individual headers are .89 each. A header
set with all twelve headers is 5.36-D. These pictures will only
give you an idea of how bright and cheerful these can make your room look! Please keep in
mind that these images do not do justice to the real thing. When I blow them up so you can
read the words, the photo in the background gets distorted. The colors also may not be
