are sharing and caring. The stories are meant to encourage compassion and
responsibility as they reinforce reading skills. The six books included are

Maggie's Phonics Readers, by Dr. Margaret Allen. These four sets of books
are rooted in current, cutting edge phonics research. They combine fun,
high-interest stories with the building of phonics skills, which progress
in difficulty from book to book. The result is that children are able to read
successfully even as they learn new letters and sounds. And this gives them a
sense of accomplishment that encourages them to read even more. Each book is 15
pages long and 7" x 9" in size. Each boxed set contains six books and a
parent guide with suggestions for supporting your child's reading development.
The front of all the sets is the same except for color and set number, so I've
only scanned the first one. The backs show the cover art of all the books and a
couple of sample pages. Unfortunately, the lettering is difficult to read
because of the color scheme. The boxes close with Velcro ®. These books are a
great buy at only $12.59-D a set. And don't miss the CDs that are made to go
with them --
