Educational Games
So what's different? Each title has a different group of ten games that have different starting ages. But the good news is that if you go to the manufactor's web site (address is on the box) you can see the rules for all forty games that are in all four boxes and play them all with just the one game that you buy. Tongue Teasers includes ten of the simplest, yet most challenging, word games. In exciting, rapid-fire manner, you are often called upon to juggle a single letter according to its position within a word. In Heads, the letter must be at the front; in Betwixt, in the middle; and in Tails, at the end. Both fun and educational, Tongue Teasers develops awareness of nouns in It, verbs in It Does What, rhymes in Rhymes With, consonants in Oh Honey, and alliterations in Pied Piper. Feel the frenzy of letter dynamics in Word Whack and of word dynamics in Chain Reaction. For ages 7 and up. $8.96-D. In the Lip Smackers package, the emphasis is on spatial relationships of letters. In Inners, Outers, Love Letters, and Doubles, you are asked to juggle two letters in forming words. You'll find Lip Smackers develops awareness of adjectives in Describe It, phonics in Sounds Like, syllables in Syllables, and definitions in What Am I. Additional phonemic awareness occurs in Long Short while anagram and spelling skills are tested in Word Slap. For ages 8 and up. $8.96-D Head Spinners offers the mentally taxing All Recall or the private solitude of Solve the Pyramid. For a change of pace, have fun playing Word Rummy and Spellbound, two anagram games that allow you to score by playing with poker chips. More excitement and learning possibilities are found in the descriptive Sticky Wicket and the poetic Rhyme Time. Put your phonemic and spelling skills to the test in Short Tiny and Chain Letters. $8.96-D In Brain Busters you'll find two solitaires, Word Circles, and its especially tough counterpart, Word Squares. There are three word pokers in Word Draw, Word Stud, and Silent Partner. Enjoy lots more learning fun and mental gymnastics with Short Sentence, Chain Gang, and Initial Reaction. We're in the Pacific Time Zone We prefer you ask your questions about products
and availability by
e-mail, since that gives us more time to prepare a thoughtful answer and
keeps us from playing phone tag. Please remember to put our email address in
your address book if you have a spam filter or you won't ever get your answer
unless you also leave a phone number. We cannot usually tell you immediately over the phone if a
book is here. We have to walk two blocks to check the warehouse, so I usually
have to call you back or email you anyway. We do check our e-mail frequently
throughout the day when we are at home. If we should be out, and you leave a
message on our answering machine, we sometimes cannot hear the phone number
clearly to return your call. Those are some reasons why we recommend you email
us first. If you want us to call you, please leave your phone number and time
