Leveled Reading and ReadersCreative Teaching Press has many more leveled reading sets that I have in stock and have not had time to list yet. These include Math Readers and Exploring Science Nonfiction. Keep watching this page for the additions. Learn to Read Math Readers, published by Creative Teaching Press. These are lively stories, full of fun themes and essential math concepts. Repetitive, predictable story lines and illustrations that match the text provide maximum support to the emergent reader. Engaging stories promote reading comprehension, and easy and fun activities on the inside back covers extend learning. Great for Reading First, Fluency, Vocabulary, Text Comprehension, and ESL/ELL! I intend to keep the variety packs in stock because most people seem to prefer to buy the books that way. Here are the assortments:
Learn to Read Science Readers: Teach science to young readers with these little books that have repetitive, predictable story lines and illustrations that match the text and provide maximum support to the emergent reader. Engaging stories promote reading comprehension, and easy and fun activities on the inside back covers extend learning. Great for Reading First, Fluency, Vocabulary, Text Comprehension, and ESL/ELL!
Learn to Write Leveled Readers: This series features fun-loving characters created by Rozanne L. Williams. They help motivate young readers to write. Each book emphasizes a different writing concept correlated to K-2 writing standards. The last page of each book encourages readers to write their own piece of the type modeled by the character in the book. These are great for small-group instruction, individual student reading, read-alouds, and ESL/ELL! I currently only carry the collections in this series, which uses leveled readers to teach writing skills in the primary grades. I will also list the larger collections which I can order and get for you in a matter of days. I will write the levels of the books beside their titles in the collections.
Available by special order and purchase order.:
Leveled Readers' Theater by Evan-Moor. Help all your students build fluency, automaticity, and comprehension using Leveled Readers’ Theater! Leveled scripts, parts at multiple reading levels, dictionary pages, and activities help you provide meaningful reading practice. Available books for grades 1-6. Life Cycles Series by Creative Teaching Press. This series of books features outstanding photographs by renowned nature photographer Dwight Kuhn and easy-to-read text by award-winning children's author David M. Schwartz. When readers see these colorful books about the life cycles and metamorphosis of twelve different animals, they won't be able to resist them. Reading these books will help build nonfiction comprehension skills, develop research skills, and expand vocabulary. Great for ELL, ESL, and even older reluctant readers, since all pictures are photographs that will fascinate any age. 16 pages each book.
I normally don't stock individual titles, but I do happen to have some of these on hand.
Look Once Again: A Nonfiction Science Series for Beginning Readers by Creative Teaching Press. Children can't resist these brightly colored books that explore their favorite topics. Young scientists will examine plant parts and animal features "up close" and then turn the page to see how these smaller parts fit into the "bigger picture." Children will take a close-up view of the powerful ears of a bat, the thorny stem of a blackberry bush, the sticky tongue of a fly, and more. Also perfect for five-senses study, this 24-book series of books features outstanding photographs by renowned nature photographer Dwight Kuhn and easy-to-read text by award-winning children's author David M. Schwartz. Reading these books will help build nonfiction comprehension skills, provide practice in reading informational text, and expand vocabulary. Great for ELL, ESL, and even older reluctant readers, since all pictures are photographs that will fascinate any age.
Twelve popular Dr. Jean songs have been hand selected and transformed into delightful readers. These fun and whimsical stories support early learning concepts by nurturing oral language, alphabet recognition, and print knowledge. These motivating stories are easy to act out and make learning fun! Variety Pack includes one each of the following:
I have written the concept each song teaches beside its title above. Numbers next to titles are publisher numbers. I would have to special order individual titles if you want them. Individual books would be $3.16 each and you would need to order at least 6 books total. Targeted to PreK-1. Each book has 12 pages. BTH-4954. $37.69-D

We're in the Pacific Time Zone We prefer you ask your questions about products
and availability by
e-mail, since that gives us more time to prepare a thoughtful answer and
keeps us from playing phone tag. Please remember to put our email address in
your address book if you have a spam filter or you won't ever get your answer
unless you also leave a phone number. We cannot usually tell you immediately over the phone if a
book is here. We have to walk two blocks to check the warehouse, so I usually
have to call you back or email you anyway. We do check our e-mail frequently
throughout the day when we are at home. If we should be out, and you leave a
message on our answering machine, we sometimes cannot hear the phone number
clearly to return your call. Those are some reasons why we recommend you email
us first. If you want us to call you, please leave your phone number and time
zone.
