NETWORK MARKETING (MLM) and MOTIVATIONAL BOOKS Many people are afraid of network or multi-level marketing, but others I have known personally have done very well with companies such as Amway and Mannatech. I myself am technically a distributor for Manntech and Melaleuca, both of which make nutritional products which have helped us greatly. Many of you do network marketing for free as you tell others you know about products and books you've enjoyed. I would be happy to talk with anyone who is interested in knowing more about either of these companies or their products and the business opportunities they provide. If you have a friend who would like you to join a network marketing company, it is very important to learn all you can about the company and those running it. It is also important to find a company you can personally be sold on. I chose the companies I did because I wanted to use their products. The books below will help you investigate what's involved in network marketing before you commit yourself or to help you develop your skills and build a downline if you are already involved. No matter what you may have been told, a successful network marketer is only going to produce a viable income when a lot of effort is expended. The millionaires -- and I have personally met them -- did not start their businesses working ten hours a week. Some of them worked long hours while getting started. Don't expect to get rich fast. But the possibility of making a good income is there if you are the right sort of person with the right people skills and a good product and a willingness to work the business. Inside Network Marketing: An Expert's View into the Hidden Truths and Exploited Myths of America's Most Misunderstood Industry by Leonard W. Clements. This book should be required reading before getting involved in a multi-level marketing company. It explains how to evaluate a company, how compensation plans work, why MLM has been maligned by many in the media and regulatory agencies, what the true state of the industry is, and how to be successful in this type of business. it is the most objective book I've read on MLM. 178 pages. Cat. #07615-06721. $12.60-D Wave 3: The New Era in Network Marketing by
Richard Poe. The author calls the network marketing phenomena a "Wave 3
Revolution" that has changed the way Americans live and the way corporate businesses
get the word out about their products. He says that today's "Wave-Three"
organizations provide their distributors with a 21st Century network of systems,
procedures, media, and technology that simplifies, standardizes, and even automates the
most difficult aspects of the business. Poe explains what network marketers need to know
about the Wave Three Revolution, how to spot a Wave Three company, Wave Three prospecting
and sponsoring, the fifth income stream, and more. Trade paper, 263 indexed pages. The Wave 3 Way to Building Your Downline by Richard Poe, who has in this book interviewed some of the most successful people in the network marketing industry who have candidly shared their successes, failures, and secrets for building the solid, productive downlines that have made them rich.. We're in the Pacific Time Zone We prefer you ask your questions about products
and availability by
e-mail, since that gives us more time to prepare a thoughtful answer and
keeps us from playing phone tag. Please remember to put our email address in
your address book if you have a spam filter or you won't ever get your answer
unless you also leave a phone number. We cannot usually tell you immediately over the phone if a
book is here. We have to walk two blocks to check the warehouse, so I usually
have to call you back or email you anyway. We do check our e-mail frequently
throughout the day when we are at home. If we should be out, and you leave a
message on our answering machine, we sometimes cannot hear the phone number
clearly to return your call. Those are some reasons why we recommend you email
us first. If you want us to call you, please leave your phone number and time
zone.
