How to buy eBooks
Our ebook store is hosted on a
separate site
which allows you to download the samples and the eBooks you decide to buy.
When you get to the site, you will see our name, Barb's People Builders, at the top in association with ebookdestination's name.
At the top you will see various headings:

Home: Contains various search buttons, including new arrivals, sale items, and buttons to search by grade level.
On the right side you will see a partial list of publishers you can search, with a link at the bottom to the complete list.

FAQ: This answers many questions you may have about how to actually buy and download a book, privacy and security, software requirements, finding what you need, the rewards program, payment information, and more. Most people already have the needed software and hardware, and there are free downloads if you don't have Adobe Reader

Customer Service: This explains how to set up an account, pay by credit card or purchase order, get a refund, view your purchases, or more.
The search headings at the top are self-explanatory, but they've got the search covered by topic, keywords, publisher, grade level, format, and more. The power search lets you search by several of these at once.
If you have questions not covered or need technical help, the webmasters at the eBook store will help you by phone or email.
The people who run the eBook store for me collect all the payments for purchases on that site and give all eBook related technical support. I process and collect payments only for books and other products I ship for orders placed by phone, purchase orders for physical merchandise or through my
tomfolio ecommerce site.. I accept purchase orders for non-electronic deliveries. If you also want eBooks or electronic delivery of music or software, you will need to make a separate purchase order through the eBook site. We're in the Pacific Time Zone
Our normal office hours when we answer the phone are 10: 30 AM - 4 PM Monday -
Friday.
We answer email and ship at other times, but normally take Sundays off.
We prefer you ask your questions about products
and availability by
e-mail (barbsbooks@sbcglobal.net), since that gives us more time to prepare a thoughtful answer and
keeps us from playing phone tag. Please remember to put our email address in
your address book if you have a spam filter or you won't ever get your answer
unless you also leave a phone number. We cannot usually tell you immediately over the phone if a
book is here. We have to walk two blocks to check the warehouse, so I usually
have to call you back or email you anyway. We do check our e-mail frequently
throughout the day when we are at home. If we should be out, and you leave a
message on our answering machine, we sometimes cannot hear the phone number
clearly to return your call. Those are some reasons why we recommend you email
us first. If you want us to call you, please leave your phone number and time
zone.
When you do email us, please do not leave the subject blank or just say "Hi" or
"Hello" as the subject. We delete those before opening because a lot of spam
messages look like that.
