How to
Contact Us -
We expect to be keeping
our regular hours for phone inquiries beginning Thursday, Jan. 3, 10 AM-2 PM
Pacific time, on weekdays. Our fax machine is always on, as is our answering
machine, as long as the power is on. We do have outages, but they only occur
about three or four times a year.

We will answer your email as soon as possible. If you
need a call back, please put your phone number in your email message.
You may call us at (800) 925-8587, but
it is always better to inquire by email if possible. It prevents playing telephone tag. We
will probably respond within 24 hours, and then you can call in a credit card
number if you want to when you know we have the book.
You may fax orders to (805) 237-9639. Be sure to include your phone number and your
preferred shipping method -- book rate or priority.

We are most likely to answer your calls in person between the hours of 10:30 A.M and
2 P.M., Pacific Time

If we are supposed to be in town, and you don't get a quick response, or if you call and
the answering machine does not respond after four rings, assume our phone lines and/or
electricity are down, and we will respond as soon as they are restored.
We are in an area of California that often experiences rolling blackouts.
If one of us is here, we will answer the phone in person immediately.
