POWER GLIDE JUNIOR ADVENTURE SERIES

The Power Glide  Junior Adventure courses are for children K-5th grade.   Everybody knows that the best time to acquire languages and a life-long love for them is when we are children! Until now it has been difficult to find language courses for smaller children that are more than just listen and repeat. But  Power Glide has them.

The course is designed so that even very young children can do it on their own. However, for the best learning experience, we recommend parents do it with their children, and families do it together. That's why Power Glide created the Parent's Complete Reference Guide. This unique tool includes a page-by-page commentary with a copy of the page your children are on in their Children's Activity Book, as well as instructions, objectives, lesson plans, tips, cultural information, kid-friendly recipes, and suggestions for additional activities you can do as a family. The Children's Course could aptly be called: a "Side by Side" Course

The course includes many diglot weave stories, with preparation and follow-up activities, plus a helpful twist especially for children: pictures instead of words. Our older student diglot weaves combine written words. In the Children's Course, we use pictures. For example, in the story of "The Farmer and the Turnip," we introduce words for the story with pictures.

The Junior Adventure Series is available in  French, German, as a one-year course with
three activity books. Some sets come with cassettes and some with audio CD's .

The easiest way to order is to visit our e-commerce site and put what you need into our shopping cart and pay through our secure server with a credit card. Some of the prices may be sale prices there of stock we are discontinuing. When you get to the site, type Power Glide into the keyword search box and it will bring up all the Power Glide items currently in stock. You may notice two different store names among the items. We have two stores on the site: Barb's People Builders and Barb's Teaching Help. We listed the items on one site before we had the other. That's why they are spread out.

If you prefer not to order on line or don't see what you need, just e-mail me and tell me what you want. I will calculate the shipping and let you know the total or answer your questions. I do have to charge California residents 7.25 % sales tax. Please note: the discount has already been figured into these prices. We're in the Pacific Time Zone
Our normal office hours when we answer the phone are 10: 30 AM - 4 PM Monday - Friday.
We answer email and ship at other times, but normally take Sundays off.
 

We prefer you ask your questions about products and availability by e-mail, since that gives us more time to prepare a thoughtful answer and keeps us from playing phone tag. Please remember to put our email address in your address book if you have a spam filter or you won't ever get your answer unless you also leave a phone number. We cannot usually tell you immediately over the phone if a book is here. We have to walk two blocks to check the warehouse, so I usually have to call you back or email you anyway.  We do check our e-mail frequently throughout the day when we are at home. If we should be out, and you leave a message on our answering machine, we sometimes cannot hear the phone number clearly to return your call. Those are some reasons why we recommend you email us first. If you want us to call you, please leave your phone number and time zone.
When you do email us, please do not leave the subject blank or just say "Hi" or "Hello" as the subject. We delete those before opening because a lot of spam messages look like that.
