Third edition. Contains the "what," "why,""how,"
"when," and "where" of every significant historical event, social
force, and trend in the history of the Oregon Country. Includes detailed reference note,
index and maps. Covers events up to 1905. Hardcover, jacket torn at top and bottom of
spine, and there is also some creasing between the two one-inch tears on either side
of the top edge. Jacket is price clipped, but there is still a publishes price tag
next to where the price should be. I know this because I picked this book up directly from
the publisher. This is a new book that has never been read but has suffered from being on
display. 916 indexed pages. Adult level. Can be used by high school and college students.

Great Empresses and Queens Paper Dolls, by Tom
Tierney. Dover. I had to stop carrying this because it isn't right for school book fairs.
The first few queens in the book (from the B.C. years) include some who are quite
immodestly dressed -- a fact that will not be noticeable by looking at the cover. My
mistake was judging the book by its cover. Was 3.95. Now only
