activities put together by a veteran credentialed substitute teacher. In this book he is
sharing what's in his 'bag of goodies" he takes to his assignments in grades three to
eight. These "goodies" include a wide variety of lessons and activities which,
when accompanied by simple preparation, produce valuable learning while engaging the
students in activities they find enjoyable. Each lesson provides a lead-in, practical
