HUMOR, JOKES, AND COMICS

Every Man is Innocent Until Proven Broke, by Brant Parker and Johnny Hart, a Wizard of Id book. OP. MM paper. Inside wraps and page edges are beginning to darken. Light edge and corner wear to wraps. BT#1226, $5.00-U (A)

Fatherhood, by Bill Cosby. Hardcover,   good condition. Red board, half cloth, blue with gold letters. Defect or slight stain on cover, possibly caused by water. The back cover's red has bled through to a dime-size stain on back of dust jacket. Couple of very tiny tears along back bottom edge of DJ and one at top near spine. Tiny piece of DJ on front corner is tearing off.   BT#114. $6.00-U (B)

"It Must Be Nice To Be Little" A For Better or For Worse® Collection by Lynn Johnson. Soft cover, almost square shape, in very good condition except for light edge and corner wear. Gift inscription to previous owner on first page. This comic strip really captures the essence of family living. OP. $20.00-U (A)

Never Sniff a Gift Fish, by Patrick F. McManus. Trade paper. Pretty good condition. Spine is creased and a fair amount of color has worn off it. Rest of wraps also contain some chipping and bottom corner is a bit dog-eared. There is a gift inscription on the first page. McManus's humorous treatment of outdoor sports life has supplied many families with read-aloud material, and kept many boys reading by flashlight in their beds at night. But their laughter gives them away, because they can't hide that. A perfect gift for those who love fishing, camping, and other outdoor activities. BT#591, $4.50 (B)

This is Your Life, Charlie Brown! by Charles M. Schulz. Selected cartoons from It's a Dog's Life, Charlie Brown, Vol. 1. MM Paper, OP. Fawcett Crest, 1969. Third printing. Pretty good condition. Previous owner put name on inside front wrap and added some artistic touches of her own on the first page and the inside back wrap. A page near the middle is creased where is was folded over. There are a few small spots and creases on wraps. Inside wraps are beginning to get dark. $6.00-U (A)

You're a Pal, Snoopy! Selected Cartoons from You Need Help Charlie Brown Vol. 2 by Charles M. Schulz. MM paper. Fawcett Crest, 1972. OP. Good condition, but pages are darkened with age. $8.00-U (A)

We're in the Pacific Time Zone
Our normal office hours when we answer the phone are 10: 30 AM - 4 PM Monday - Friday.
We answer email and ship at other times, but normally take Sundays off.

We prefer you ask your questions about products and availability by e-mail, since that gives us more time to prepare a thoughtful answer and keeps us from playing phone tag. Please remember to put our email address in your address book if you have a spam filter or you won't ever get your answer unless you also leave a phone number. We cannot usually tell you immediately over the phone if a book is here. We have to walk two blocks to check the warehouse, so I usually have to call you back or email you anyway.  We do check our e-mail frequently throughout the day when we are at home. If we should be out, and you leave a message on our answering machine, we sometimes cannot hear the phone number clearly to return your call. Those are some reasons why we recommend you email us first. If you want us to call you, please leave your phone number and time zone.
When you do email us, please do not leave the subject blank or just say "Hi" or "Hello" as the subject. We delete those before opening because a lot of spam messages look like that.
We have supplied a subject line in the link provided above that will guarantee your mail will be opened fast.
Or call (800)925-8587 (not before 10 AM or after 10 PM Pacific Time)
